The Cavalier, under Capt Matt Smith, took a small group of anglers on the AM bay fishing trip today and the fishing was very good. The boat limited out on tagged red drum (red drum over 28inches long can be kept only with a tag that comes with a State fishing license).

This has nothing to do with fishing, but for those of you who used to eat at Joe's Crab Shack on Pier 19, and in it's earlier life as Hill's Pier 19 Restaurant, the wrecking ball has finally arrived. Severely damaged by our old friend, Hurricane Ike, demolition began around Dec 17 or 18. Rumor control says an new restaurant will be built on this location.
