Fishing in the bay has finally shown signs of coming back to life. The AM bay trip had a nice catch of red drum (all oversized: these can be kept only with a red drum tag from a Texas fishing license), one black drum and assorted sharks and gafftops.

Pretty good day of fishing deep sea: 104 red snapper, 69 vermillion snapper, 3 gray snapper, 3 king mackeral, 110 spadefish, 100 gray triggerfish, 3 rainbow runners and 1 rock hind (52 passengers)

No trip today due to a bent propeller. On the way in Sunday night, the boat ran over one of the many trees floating around offshore as a result of the recent heavy rains. No fishing pictures to show, so here are some pics of what had to be done.

This trip did not have many red snapper but a decent variety of fish were caught: twenty red snapper, 53 vermillion snapper, one yellowtail snapper, 23 lane snapper, two amberjack, two barracuda, one stingray and ten rock hind
