The last trip before Hurricane Dean roughed up the offshore waters forced the cancellation of several trips.

The New Buccaneer with Capt King at the helm, had a good catch on Sunday which consisted of 92 red snapper, 161 vermillion snapper, 20 lane snapper, 7 king mackerel, 30 gray triggerfish, one warsaw grouper, one rock hind and one atlantic sharpnose shark.

The first trip offshore after missing several days due to Tropical Storm Erin. The New Buccaneer, guided by Capt. Garrett King caught a nice variety of fish: 92 red snapper, 146 vermillion snapper, 10 lane snapper, 11 king mackerel, 8 mahi-mahi, 28 spadefish, 20 gray triggerfish and 1 gag grouper.

Capt King piloted the New Buccaneer offshore and customers had a decent day of fishing. The catch included 66 red (boat limit), 14 vermillion, 16 lane and 4 mangrove snappers, 2 king mackerel, 27 gray trigger fish and 137 spadefish.


Sunday, August 12, 2007
On a very hot day, Capt Garrett put the New Buccaneer fishermen on a nice haul of red and vermillion snappers, 2 mahi-mahi, 18 sharpnose sharks and 22 gray triggerfish. The catch also included a barracuda and several king mackerel.
