The New Buccaneer returned today from a 30 hour trip that departed at 11AM on Sunday. What began as a pretty choppy ride turned nice overnight as the weather improved every hour. This trip fished approximately 130 miles offshore. The catch consisted of:

80 blackfin tuna
6 yellowfin to 60 lbs
11 amberjacks to 30lbs
95 red snapper to 13 lbs
4 lane
6 trigger fish
1 rockhind
2 african pompanos
1 rainbow runner
1 warsaw grouper

The New Buccaneer went offshore with 41 fishermen and returned with a bag limit of 82 red snapper as well as 14 lane snapper, 3 mangrove snapper, 5 Atlantic sharpnose sharks and 62 angelfish.
Sunday, September 23, 2007
Another day of fantastic weather and great fishing. The New Buccaneer went on an 8 hour offshore and had a terrific catch: 94 red snapper, 2 spanish mackerel, 76 spadefish and 23 bonnethead sharks.

Saturday, September 22, 2007
On an gorgeous almost Fall day, the New Buccaneer traveled about 50 miles offshore and brought in 152 red snapper, 116 vermillion snapper, 10 lane snapper, 1 20-lb cobia (ling), 114 gray triggerfish, 1 rock hind grouper and 3 scamp grouper.

Capt Garrett King took 56 fishermen offshore today on the New Buccaneer and came in with another nice catch consisting of 112 red snapper (a boat limit), 4 vermillion snapper, 26 yellowtail snapper, 1 king mackerel, 12 gray triggerfish, 1 warsaw grouper and 1 rock hind (grouper).
