The New Buccaneer, piloted by Capt Garrett King and Second Capt Drew Blasdel, took 46 anglers on a 30 hour safari trip. Departing 7AM Saturday morning, the trip returned at 1PM Sunday afternoon with an awesome catch of:
309 vermillion snapper 1 mangrove snapper 24 amberjack 7 triggerfish 1 gag grouper 2 scamp grouper 1 warsaw grouper 3 ling (cobia) 190 blackfin tuna 13 yellowfin tuna |

Today was one of those days where the weatherman predicted marginal seas in the AM and calming throughtout the day. Well, the forecast was not that accurate and while the weather did get nice, the seas stayed choppy a little longer than predicted. Still, the New Buccaneer came back in with a decent catch of:

The first Tuesday trip offshore that we have had in a while. 57 fishermen on the New Buccaneer braved choppy seas for the first 5 or 6 miles of the trip and came back 12 hours later with:
46 vermillion snapper 3 lane snapper 2 mangrove snapper 5 amberjack 1 warsaw grouper 1 king mackerel (30 lbs) 1 ling (cobia) (35 lbs) 227 angelfish |
