The New Buccanner ran a 12 hour offshore trip today rather than the usual 8-hour Sunday trip. Fishing was good with a catch consisting of:
111 red snapper 46 vermillion snapper 2 king mackerel 12 sharpnose sharks 1 scamp grouper 3 rock hind groupers 6 gray triggerfish |

Red Snapper fishing today picked up a little from Friday. The New Buccaneer came in with:
128 red snapper 130 vermillion snapper 5 lane snapper 1 Warsaw grouper (federal limit is one per boat) 1 rock hind grouper |

Deep sea fishing on this Fourth of July was decent but not spectacular. Red snapper were a little on the elusive side but fishing was still pretty good. The New Buccaneer under the guidance of Capt Garrett King brought in:
95 red snapper 176 vermillion snapper 5 lane snapper 2 cobia (ling) 2 Atlantic sharpnose sharks 7 gray triggerfish |

Fishing continues to be great on both the 12-hour offshore and 4 hour bay fishing trips. You never know how long good fishing will last and for the past several days the fishing and the weather have been very good. Capt Garrett (New Buccaneer) and Capt Rick (Cavalier) had great trips and put customers on the fish.
The New Buccanner came in with:
180 red snapper 148 vermillion snapper 16 lane snapper 1 gray snapper 1 king mackerel 6 sharpnose sharks 2 scamp grouper 11 triggerfish |
