A small crowd of only 42 anglers went offshore on the New Buccanner today and came in with a boat limit of red snapper. Capt Garret King continues to find big fish and nice catches

First day of red snapper season for 2009 saw a big crowd aboard the New Buccanner with Capt Garret King.

| Capt Matt Smith piloted the Cavalier on the morning bay trip and fishing continued to be very good. The Wedsnday morning trip with 40 fishermen came back with a nice catch of red drum, sharks, and even one cobia (ling). |

A small Memorial Day crowd of 58 fishermen came back from the New Buccaneer 12 hour trip with:
1 gag grouper
1 warsaw grouper
4 rock hind
10 triggerfish
284 vermillion snapper
15 lane snapper
2 king mackerel
1 amberjack
2 ling
About 200 red snapper were caught and released
