This morning's 4 hour trip was run with Capt. Johnny Williams. The 41 fishermen worked their baits of cut squid at or near the bottom in the area of Galveston's South Jetty. Their catch was made up of whiting, sand trout, hearhead catfish and several undersize sharks.

This morning's bay/jetty fishing trip had Capt. Johnny Williams at the helm. Leaving Galveston's Pier 19 with 33 fishermen aboard, the run to the South Jetty area started.

Fishing the waters around the end of the jetty with their squid baits at or near the bottom had a catch coming up that included sandtrout, whiting, Atlantic sharpnose shark and hardhead catfish. Capt. Johnny Williams headed up this morning's four hour bay/jetty fishing trip by the partyboat Texsun II.
The fishing destination for the 54 fishermen and their cut squid baits was the area around the end of the South Jetty.

Their efforts had this catch coming over the rails; it included sandtrout, whiting, Atlantic sharpnose shark and numerous hardhead catfish.

Both of today's 4 hour bay and jetty fishing trips by the Texsun II were headed up by Capt. Johnny Williams. This morning's trip was run to the East End Flats with 64 fishermen aboard, while this afternoon's trip had 36 fishermen aboard and fishig was done in the area of the end of the South Jetty.

Using pieces of cut squid for bait, fished at or near the bottom, their catches included sand trout, whiting, hardhead catfish, bluefish and Atlantic sharpnose shark.
