This morning's four hour bay and jetty fishing trip by the Texsun II was run with Capt. Johnny Williams. He had the 48 fishermen working their baits in the area outside the end of the north jetty and the boat cut. The last area fished was near the concrete ship Selma, just east of Pelican Island. Their efforts had them bringing in this catch:
* Gafftop catfish
* Sand trout
* Hardhead catfish
* Whiting
* Atlantic sharpnose shark

This four hour bay and jetty fishing trip to the area of Galveston's south jetty was headed up by Capt. Johnny Williams with 65 fishermen aboard. The cut squid or shad pieces that were fished at or near the bottom had this catch being wound in:
* Bull redfish
* Black drum
* Hardhead catfish
* Whiting
* Sand trout
* Gafftop catfish

The Texsun II ran two bay and jetty four hour fishing trips today with Capt. Johnny Williams at the wheel. The morning run was made with 56 fishermen and the afternoon saw 59 fishermen aboard.
Both of these trips were run tot he area of the Galveston jetties where squid or shad baits, fished on the bottom, produced these catches:
* AM:
o Bull Redfish
o Gafftop catfish
o Sand trout
o Whiting
o Hardhead catfish
o Sting Ray
* PM:
o Bull redfish
o Black drum, which was oversized and released.
o Sand trout
o Whiting
o Hardhead catfish
These four hour bay and jetty fishing trips are a true fishing bargain at $25 for adults and $15 for 12 and under. You might not only catch those species mentioned on these trips but possibly also several shark types. This four hour bay and jetty fishing trip was run this morning with Capt. Johnny Williams at the helm. Once again, fishing the Galveston jetties using cut squid baits at or near the bottom, the fishermen reeled up this catch:

* Atlantic sharpnose sharks

Two bay and jetty fishing trips of four hours each were run today with Capt. Johnny Williams at the wheel. Using baits of cut squid, these trips brought in this total catch from the bottom area, at Galveston's north and south jetties:
* black drum

* Atlantic sharpnose sharks
* sand trout
* stingray
