This morning's trip had Capt. Johnny Williams at the wheel again. The 61 fishermen had their baits of cut squid pieces at or near the bottom and they wound up a catch which included bull redfish, gafftop catfish, whiting, sand trout, Atlantic sharpnose sharks and again, numerous hardhead catfish.

The four hour bay & jetty trip that was run this morning was headed up by Capt. Johnny Williams. He had the 62 fishermen aboard working their baits in the area of Galveston's south jetty.

They and their cut squid baits produced this catch that was made up of Atlantic sharpnose sharks, whiting, gafftop catfish, sand trout and numerous hardhead catfish that were released.

Morning and afternoon, four hour bay and jetty fishing trips were run by the Texsun II. The morning trip, with 51 fishermen aboard, fished various spots in the bay. The afternoon trip with 32 fishermen worked the South Jetty area. Both trips were headed up by Capt. Johnny Williams.

The fishermen's efforts and baits had this combined catch coming aboard: Bull redfish, black drum, sand trout, croaker, gafftop catfish, Atlantic sharpnose shark and numerous hardhead catfish.

This afternoon's bay and jetty fishing trip for the Texsun II was to the area of Galveston's South Jetty. Capt. Johnny Williams had the 63 fishermen putting their baits into position at or near the bottom.

The baits and the fishermen's efforts brought this catch to the deck to join them:

* 3 bull redfish
* 5 Atlantic sharpnose shark
* 1 gafftop catfish
* 31 sand trout
* 5 whiting
* numerous hardhead catfish, released

This morning bay and jetty fishing trip had Capt. Johnny Williams in the driver's seat. The 64 fishermen fished their baits at the wreck near the concrete ship "Selma", which is located on the East side of Pelican Island.

Their baits that were worked at or very near the bottom fooled this catch into biting:

* 2 bull redfish
* 5 Atlantic sharpnose shark
* 3 gafftop catfish
* 12 sand trout
* 3 whiting
* numerous hardhead catfish, released.

This four hour bay and jetty fishing trip by the Texsun II, out of Galveston's Pier 19, was headed up by Capt. Johnny Williams. The run to the jetties area this morning had 29 fishermen aboard. Their baits, that were worked at or near the bottom, produced this catch:

* 29 sand trout
* 5 gafftop catfish
* 8 whiting
* 1 bull redfish, released
* numerous hardhead catfish, released
