This afternoon's bay and jetty fishing trip was again run to the Galveston North and South jetty area and was headed up by Capt. Johnny Williams. The 65 fishermen's cut squid baits were once again presented at or near the bottom resulting in a catch which included Atlantic sharpnose sharks, croaker, gafftop catfish, sand trout, whiting and those ever present hardhead catfish which were released alive at boatside.

Again this morning, the Texsun II's bay and jetty fishing trip was headed up by Capt. Johny Williams. After leaving Pier 19 with a charter group of 32 fishermen from British Petroleum (BP), the run to the area of Galveston's South jetty began. Their baits, worked at or very near the bottom, coaxed a catch made up of bull redfish, Atlantic sharpnose sharks, gafftop catfish, whiting, sand trout and once again, the always numerous hardhead catfish which were, as always, released alive.
