Saturday afternoon

This afternoon's bay and jetty trip was headed up by Capt. Johnny Williams. He took the 43 fishermen aboard to the area of the South Jetty where they put their baits of cut squid to work at or near the bottom. Their time at the rail along, with their bait's scent, taste and feel produced a catch made up of bull redfish, whiting gafftop catfish, sand trout, Atlantic sharpnose sharks and the usual party crashers, hardhead catfish that were released.

To experience fishing on the Texsun II, along with the sights, sounds and smells of beautiful Galveston bay, give the office a call. Our friendly staff in the Texsun II office at Galveston's Pier 19 are waiting to hear from you - 409-762-8808 or 713-223-4853 will get you there.
